Director and Creator
As a creative director, I see my chief role as one of mentorship. Day in and day out, I lead and guide the thinking and execution of creative teams, including designers, copywriters, and photographers, on multiple concurrent projects. Connect via LinkedIn
I provide strategic and conceptual insight, and I have completed countless marketing campaigns, advertising concepts, brand guidelines, photography/video shoots, digital products with a focus on user experience. I have also been deeply involved in brainstorming and idea development based on Design Thinking process for pitches and projects, and the creation of comps and prototypes — all while collaborating daily with PM, dev, UX, QA, and client teams to ensure the final product meets deadlines and exceeds expectations.
Mentor and Professor
For me, creative mentorship doesn’t end at the office. I’m also a course instructor for Visual Communications and Design Management. By establishing a Design Thinking Process, I create a framework for my students to constructively brainstorm — helping to bring their visions to life. I’ve been fortunate enough to mentor Visual Communications students from Kean University, New Jersey, Seton Hall, New Jersey, and Yantai University, China. See my students’ design
At The Shintaro Akatsu Graduate School of Design, Connecticut, I advised Design Management students in the structuring of their final thesis project. Focusing on Design Thinking Process and Triple Bottom Line, I’ve helped students push the boundaries of innovative design thinking.
